Information you give us

When you send a service request through our website, we collect the details you enter:

• Your name, email address, and phone number
• Your watercraft make, model, and model year
• The service you’re interested in
• Your service ZIP code or neighborhood
• Any access details, preferred dates, or other notes you include

If you email or call us directly, we receive whatever information you choose to share.

Information collected automatically

• Request details. When you submit the form, our website receives your IP address and an approximate country based on it, along with the time of your request. We use these to prevent spam and abuse (including limiting repeated submissions), and they are included in the request notification we receive.
• Lead ID. Each request is given a random reference number (Lead ID) so we can match it with our records. It contains no personal details.
• Your browser. After a confirmed request, our thank-you page saves the Lead ID in your browser’s local storage so the same request isn’t counted twice.
• Technical logs. Like most websites, our hosting and email providers keep limited technical logs (such as IP addresses and request times) to operate, secure, and troubleshoot their services.

How we use your information

• To respond to your inquiry, prepare a quote, and schedule and perform service
• To send you an email confirming we received your request
• To keep records of the service we provide
• To protect our website from spam, fraud, and misuse
• To understand how our website is used and whether our online advertising leads to real inquiries

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with others for their own marketing.

Service providers

We rely on a small number of trusted providers to run our website and communications:

• Cloudflare hosts our website and processes form submissions.
• Resend delivers the request notification to us and the confirmation email to you.
• Google Workspace hosts our business email, where inquiries are received and kept.
• Google Fonts supplies the typefaces on our pages, so your browser connects to Google to load them.
• Google Ads helps us measure our advertising, as described below.
• Google Analytics helps us understand how visitors use our website, as described below.

These providers handle information on our behalf under their own privacy terms. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, our customers, or others.

Advertising, analytics, and cookies

We use Google’s tag for Google Ads and Google Analytics on our homepage. It uses cookies and similar technologies to measure how people reach our site from our ads. On our thank-you page, the tag loads only after a confirmed service request, so we can count that request as a conversion and a lead. As with any website tag, Google receives standard information from your browser, such as the page address, your IP address, and cookie identifiers. The only detail about your service request that we share with Google is the random Lead ID, never your name, email address, phone number, or other contact details. Enhanced conversions, which would share contact information with Google, are turned off.

We may use Google advertising features, such as remarketing, to show our ads to people who have visited our website. Google may use cookies to show ads based on your past visits to our site and other sites.

You can opt out of personalized advertising from Google at adssettings.google.com, and from many other ad networks at aboutads.info/choices. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings; our site and inquiry form will still work.

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our website, such as which pages are viewed and how people find us. Google Analytics uses cookies, and Google processes data based on your IP address to provide it. We do not send your name, email address, or phone number to Google Analytics. You can opt out by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

How long we keep information

We keep service requests and related emails in our business email for as long as needed to serve you and to maintain our business and service records. Our email delivery provider keeps delivery logs for a limited period under its own retention policy. You may ask us to delete your information at any time, subject to any records we need to keep.

Security

Our website is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and access to the accounts that hold your information is limited. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you share with us.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we have about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by contacting us below. You can also choose not to use our online form and call or email us instead.

Children

Our website and services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the new version on this page and update the effective date above.
